About Us
Hi, I'm Luci, and Off Leash Life started with a simple idea: life is better with dogs.
Not just the perfectly trained dogs or the picture-perfect ones. I have a soft spot for the underdogs, the big dogs, the tiny dogs, the loud ones, the misunderstood ones, the funny-looking ones, and the old souls who somehow know exactly when you need them.
But the truth is, I love them all.
The carefully planned puppy you've waited years for. The rescue that picked you instead. The dog who keeps you company on weekend hikes and the one who would rather supervise you from the couch. Every dog has a personality, a story, and a way of making ordinary days a little more extraordinary.
Dogs have been part of my family through every season of my life. When my daughter left for college, my two Shih Tzus, Zorro and Che, helped me through the empty nest years. They were there through job changes, moves, marriage, and all the ups and downs that life has a way of bringing.
Today our family includes two rescue dogs, Murdock and Cash. Murdock kept a name close to the one he came from the shelter with because it felt like part of his story. Cash earned his name because he's our own "Man in Black."
Like so many dog people, I've learned that life rarely goes according to plan. Dogs don't seem to mind. They find joy in the little things, make ordinary days feel like adventures, and somehow make us laugh even after they've made us cry.
That's what Off Leash Life is about.
I started creating dog designs for myself and my family long before I ever thought about opening a store. Eventually it felt natural to build a brand around something I already loved: celebrating the wonderful, chaotic, funny, and heartfelt experience of sharing life with dogs.
For me, "Live Untethered" means living life on your own terms, with the companion you choose, and without worrying too much about what other people think. Whether you spend every weekend camping or live in a little apartment in the middle of town, life with a dog has a way of making the world bigger and the little moments more meaningful.
Whether your best friend came from a breeder, a rescue, or simply wandered into your life when you least expected it, I hope you find something here that reminds you why life is better with dogs.
Thanks for being here.
